Bite my shiny metal senate!

Some of you may be aware of the work of Patric Verrone. He’s wrote on Futurama since the start, writing episodes such as "The Problem with Popplers” and fan favourite "The Sting”. As former president of the WGA West Patric also fought for new writers contracts that covered the internet(you may remember the strike in 2007/8).

Now Patric is running for office! On June 3rd he will be on the ballot for CA Senate District 26 so he needs your help! But don’t go blindly in to vote! Read about what Patric stands for, why he is running and what his dog REALLY wants to do for a job. Head over to his website and find out more!

Patric is also being endorsed by many of the folks on the show and to raise funds for his campaign they are putting on a live comedy show featuring the stars of Futurama the evening of Tuesday, May 27 in Hollywood, CA. It's called OUTTAKE-O-RAMA and is scheduled to feature Billy West, John DiMaggio, and Maurice LaMarche. Tickets are $50 and the money goes as a contribution to Patric's campaign.
