Tonight's the night!

For another win. Hopefully!

While the main primetime Emmy award ceremony is next weekend, other categories such as guest stars, technical achievements and more are announced tonight. That includes both of Futurama's chances for the golden statue. Futurama is up for 'Best Animated Program' while Maurice LaMarche hopes to make it two years in a row in the 'Outstanding Voice Acting' category for the episode 'Silence of the Clamps'.

Best of luck to everyone and here's to hoping they'll make it a clean sweep again like last year!

UPDATE!

Maurice did it again!

For the second year running Maurice LaMarche won an Emmy for 'Outstanding Voice Over Performance'! Afterwards Maurice took to Facebook to say thanks, here.
A very modest, gracious and deserved winner. Congratulations Maurice!!

Unfortunately Futurama lost out in the 'Best Animated Program' category to 'Penguins Of Madagascar: The Return Of The Revenge Of Dr. Blowhole' although John DiMaggio does do several voices on that so it's not ALL bad! Congratulations to them.
