The morning after...(UPDATED!)
In a mixed awards evening, Futurama walked off with only one award as well as Matt Groening's 'Winsor McCay Lifetime Achievement Award'.
Ken Keeler was the deserved winner of best writing in an animated production for 'The Prisoner of Benda' at the WGAs.
Futurama missed out on awards at the Annies, unfortunately, with 'Kung Fu Panda Holiday Special' winning best animated programme(yes, really) and Robot Chicken Star Wars III winning best writing. A strange night at the Annies really with Toy Story getting mainly shunned.
So a huge congrats to Ken for that fantastic win!

Awards, awards, awards.
Tonight's a big night for awards as far as Futurama goes with TWO awards ceremonies taking place.
Futurama is nominated twice in the animation(any length) category at the Writers Guild of America awards for 'Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences' and 'The Prisoner of Benda'.
The show is also nominated twice at The Annies, the most prestigious animation awards ceremony around at which Futurama is traditionally extremely successful. Possible wins await in the 'Best Animated Television Production' and 'Writing in a Television Production'(for Michael Rowe). Matt Groening will also be receiving a lifetime achievement award.

Sagal: "another Season" Vulture: "maybe"
According to a news post on Vulture, Katey 'Leela' Sagal said that
With past renewals, the voice actors were seemingly contacted just before negotiations commenced or at the very beginning of negotiations to make sure that they'd be available for the show. This has caused confusion regarding the status of the show before.
If there haven't been any official negotiations yet, they'd probably have to start rather soon if Comedy Central wants the episodes to be ready for summer 2012.
